ويستعد الأهلي لخوض مباراة مرتقبة أمام اتحاد العاصمة الجزائري في كأس السوبر الإفريقي، الجمعة المقبل على ملعب استاد الملك فهد الدولي.

ولحق معلول بالبعثة بعد انتهاء مشاركته مع منتخب تونس في مباراته الودية الأخيرة أمام منتخب مصر، والتي انتهت بفوز نسور قرطاج بثلاثية مقابل هدف.

ويعقد مارسيل كولر المدير الفني للفريق، اجتماعًا مع الجهاز المعاون لترتيب برنامج الإعداد الخاص بمباراة السوبر.

Tottenham insider John Wenham believes the club could seal the signing of AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie in a number of days, Football Insider report.

The Lowdown: Talks at an advanced stage

Managing director at Spurs Fabio Paratici has been linked with a move for Kessie for a number of months now.

The Ivorian, capable of playing as a central or defensive midfielder, has just six months remaining on his AC Milan contract.

That means Tottenham will have the chance to seal pre-contract terms in the January transfer window, with The Daily Express reporting in recent days that talks are at an advanced stage.

Arsenal and Manchester United are also keen, but it’s believed Antonio Conte’s side are at the front of the queue for the 25-year-old’s signature.

The Latest: Wenham’s comments

Spurs insider Wenham was talking to Football Insider in a story on Thursday evening regarding Kessie.

He feels that a move could be finalised in ‘days’, labelling Paratici as a ‘specialist’.

“The Franck Kessie stuff is still going on.

“The opportunity to get him on a pre-contract is coming up in a few days and I think that’s one to keep an eye on.

“I’ve mentioned before about Paratici’s links with Serie A and how he is a specialist at getting these deals done.

“That one would not surprise me. There are reportedly a lot of clubs interested in him.

“But now we have the pulling power of Antonio Conte, which could give us an edge.”

Should Spurs land Kessie on a pre-contract agreement over the coming days, it could turn out to be an excellent piece of business both in the short and long term, with Paratici then able to look at immediate January additions.

Tottenham would be getting a £43.2m-rated midfielder seemingly in his prime for nothing, with Kessie bringing a wealth of international and European experience to north London.

There could also be a number of midfield departures at Spurs over the next few weeks, with Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celso linked with exits. Should the pair move on, that would leave Conte with just four senior midfield options, so bringing in Kessie would help bolster the numbers in the middle of the pitch.

كشفت تقارير صحفية أن الاتحاد الإنجليزي لكرة القدم يدرك احتمالية رحيل المدير الفني لمنتخب إنجلترا، جاريث ساوثجيت، في غضون فترة قريبة.

ووفقًا لما ذكرته صحيفة “ديلي ميل” الإنجليزية، فإن مسؤولو الاتحاد الإنجليزي يدركون حالة اليقين التي تحيط بمستقبل ساوثجيت.

وأوضحت أن هناك احتمالية في أوساط الاتحاد الإنجليزي حول رحيل ساوثجيت عن الأسود الثلاثة بعد بطولة أوروبا، يورو 2024، في ألمانيا الصيف القادم.

وأشارت إلى أنه كانت هناك مشاعر مماثلة قبل نهائيات كأس العالم قطر 2022، حيث وضع الاتحاد آنذاك عددًا من البدلاء المحتملين مثل إيدي هاو، جراهام بوتر وماوريسيو بوتشيتينو.

وأفادت بأن البديل الذي يمثل حلمًا بالنسبة للاتحاد الإنجليزي هو بيب جوارديولا، مدرب مانشستر سيتي، والذي يُعد خيارًا يرغب المسؤولون في إمكانية تطبيقه.

وأكدت أن خطة الاتحاد الإنجليزي حاليًا لتحديد البديل المناسب لـ ساوثجيت تُعد أكثر أهمية مما كانت عليه في السابق، نظرًا لأن عقد المدرب سينتهي في نهاية العام المقبل.

ومن المرجح أن يظل هاو وبوتر وبوتشيتينو وبريندان رودجرز خيارات ممكنة لخلافة ساوثجيت، ولكن مسؤولي الاتحاد الإنجليزي حريصون أيضًا على خوض التجربة مع جوارديولا.

وسينتهي العقد الحالي لـ جوارديولا مع حامل لقب الدوري الإنجليزي في عام 2025، بعد 12 شهرًا من بطولة يورو، وهو ما يمثل عقبة أمام الاتحاد الإنجليزي، إلى جانب أجره المرتفع.

ويريد الاتحاد الإنجليزي استغلال دعم جوارديولا العلني لاستقلال كتالونيا والذي قد يخلق حواجزًا سياسية تمنعه من تدريب منتخب إسبانيا، ومن ثم يطرح عليه إمكانية إدارة منتخب إنجلترا.

ورغم ذلك، أكدت الصحيفة نفسها أنه لا ينبغي استبعاد إمكانية بقاء ساوثجيت في منصبه حتى كأس العالم 2026.

Chris Gayle said before the Adelaide Test that he didn’t know who Doug Bollinger was but two games later he’s convinced the left-armer is the best bowler in Australia’s attack. Bollinger’s eight-wicket match at the WACA could give Australia’s selectors a tough decision ahead of the Boxing Day Test against Pakistan, if Peter Siddle and Ben Hilfenhaus continue to recover well from their injuries.Over the past year Australia have built their attack around the pace trio of Mitchell Johnson, Siddle and Hilfenhaus, with Bollinger as their back-up. He was unlucky not to be named Man of the Match in Perth, where he bowled with speed, aggression and consistency, and collected 5 for 70 in the first innings and 3 for 71 in the second.He stepped into the side when the impressive Hilfenhaus was left out in Adelaide due to knee tendonitis and finished the series with 13 wickets and a growing cult status. De acordo com o arqueiro, o elenco paranista está focado em brigar pelo acesso nesta temporada.

كشفت شبكة “فوت ميركاتو” الفرنسية عن تطور جديد بشأن صفقة انتقال مهاجم نادي بوروسيا دورتموند السابق، أنتوني موديست، إلى الأهلي قبل غلق الميركاتو الصيفي.

وفي الأيام القليلة الماضية، ازدادت الأنباء حول انتقال موديست إلى الأهلي بعد توصل الطرفين لاتفاق لينضم اللاعب إلى كتيبة المدرب، مارسيل كولر.

وبحسب التقرير، من المتوقع أن يخضع موديست للفحوصات الطبية الشاملة اليوم في سويسرا، وإذا نجح في تخطيها سيوقع على عقوده مع الأهلي خلال الساعات المقبلة.

العقد مع الأهلي سيكون لمدة موسم واحد مع إمكانية التمديد لموسم آخر وذلك وفقًا لمعدل مشاركاته وأهدافه مع الفريق خلال الموسم المقبل.

Pakistan’s centrally contracted players will now get a 25% hike in their monthly retainers, the PCB announced on Wednesday. This is in addition to hikes of 25% in Test match fee and 10% for ODIs.However, the board is yet to finalise the list of contracted players in all categories. The list will be released after the conclusion of the ongoing camp at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. The revised salaries come into effect from January 1, 2014. The PCB will also release up to 50% of the players’ remunerations for those who have represented Pakistan in international matches since January 2014.The system of bonuses has also been revised to incentivise outstanding individual performances and series wins.
